Task 5 – Comparison of Adjectives and Adverbs

Two friends, Emma and Lucy, live in different British cities. Emma lives in London, while Lucy lives in Birmingham. They often discuss which city is to live in. Emma thinks London is for opportunities, but also admits it can be more expensive than Birmingham. She says the public transport in London is than in Birmingham, though it can be crowded. Lucy argues that Birmingham is due to its relaxed atmosphere. She also claims it’s less busy than London. When it comes to weather, they both agree Birmingham is because it rains than in London. Overall, they can’t decide which city is because each has its own charm.
